It has a large pore structure to ensure optimum bacterial colonization and delays to the sifting-up of the pores
(for much longer intervals between cleaning). The hollow cavity form a concentration difference of ions, NH4+ and N02+ will adsorb actively to filter media.
Due to high concentration of bacteria, peak ammonia and nitrite loads are more easily reduced. It's suitable for fresh and marine water, is washable and can be reused.

Please rinse the products with tank water several times before use.
Suggest to pour nitrifying bacteria into the filter medium and open the filter. If it's possible, do not use net
bag in order to achieve better filtration performance.
1 Liter for 500 Liters (125 US gallons) of water. 15Liters for 2500 Liters (625 US gallons) of water.
Do not clean or change all the filter media together (and never clean too rigorously).
The cultured bacteria must not be completely destroyed, otherwise re-colonisation will be retarded.
